"Put your backs into it!!"

The arctic conditions still hold our corner of Kent in their icy grip keeping half the Search Press workforce tucked up in warm homes whilst the other half ensure the smooth running of deliveries come what may...Well not strictly true as only one lorry managed to get through and up the piste that used to be called the driveway (now revelling in the title ‘The Wellwood Downhill Run').

With a forklift truck that sports slick tyres, it was decided to clear a suitable unloading area outside the new part of the warehouse that would be safe enough without compromising man or machine.  So it was all hands to the deck as editors, accountants, production managers and designers as well as warehousemen all mucked in and cleared a path for delivery. With shovels, spades and brushes and in freezing conditions, we were able to complete the job, and now jokingly have our sights set on expanding our services out to airports and motorways!!

Our duties then extended to traffic control as we halted traffic at the bottom of the hill to make sure that the lorry could make a safe getaway.
