Knitted dogs have tremendous charm. The choice of breed, size and colour is all yours without difficult decisions such as, 'Is an Afghan quite the thing in our high rise flat?' or 'Can I bear to spend hours grooming an Old English sheepdog every day?' These dogs really do sit! They do not moult (well, not much anyway), and they do not eat a great deal, so go ahead and knit as many as you like!
