Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions listed below apply to all transactions on www.searchpress.com. Use of the site and any orders placed indicates your acceptance of the listed terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these, then we'd ask you (very politely, of course) not to use this site.

Ordering
Our acceptance of your order takes place when we despatch the goods, at which point the purchasing contract will be made and you will be charged for the order you have placed. The order will be processed once authorisation has been properly received.

Overseas Customers
As of 1st July 2021, due to the changes to post-Brexit VAT regulations we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend direct sales to countries in the EU through our website. If you order through our website you will be automatically refunded.

We reserve the right NOT to supply customers in certain other overseas countries due to postal costs and delivery issues. If we do supply overseas then we can only do so for books that are in stock. If you order and pay for books that are not available, you will be informed and refunded.

Overseas customers may like to consider ordering through one of our online retail partners.

Description and Accuracy of Information
We endeavour to ensure that all product specification images and details given on our site are as accurate as possible. However, we cannot guarantee the reliability and Search Press Limited disclaims any liabilities direct or indirect associated with the contents of this site. All images, specifications and descriptions are for the purpose of giving you an approximate description of the product - should you require more details or information on any products detailed on this site please contact us directly.

Pricing
All prices shown on our site are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to make adjustments to the price at any time. This may be due to increases from our suppliers or due to an error in the published price. We will contact you prior to making the adjustments to give you the opportunity to cancel the order if you so wish.

Payment Methods
When ordering please supply your billing address, telephone number and e-mail address (for details of what we do with this information, please refer to our Privacy Policy below. Please ensure that your e-mail address is correct as we will send you confirmation of your order by e-mail. Any incorrect information given will unfortunately delay the order. The order will be processed once full authorisation has been received from your debit/credit card company. We will accept cheque payments for orders, however goods will not be despatched until the funds have been cleared which can take up to 14 working days.

All payments are checked for fraud and any frauds will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Please note that these Terms and Conditions can be changed at any time and without prior notice.

Competitions
Search Press competition winners will usually be notified by email. While we will always honour prizes as advertised wherever possible, we reserve the right to substitute prizes to the equivalent value of those originally advertised at our discretion. Prizes are non-transferable, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers and are usually only available to a UK-based entrant unless the competition states otherwise. No cash alternatives to prizes can be offered.

All competitions are limited to one entry per household and no employees of Search Press or affiliated companies are eligible to enter. Winners will be chosen entirely at Search Press’s discretion and we reserve the right announce competition winners on social media and our website. Any entries received after the advertised closing date will not be accepted as valid entries.

To keep you up to date by email with our publishing programme, we will store your entry details in a GDPR-compliant manner and will not pass them on to any 3rd party. If you do not want to hear from us in future, please mark your competition entries accordingly.

Who do I contact for any product safety questions (including issues relating to EU GPSR legislation compliance)?

Where relevant, our products have been through appropriate testing to confirm to international safety standards. Products are marked where necessary for appropriate age level use and international certification. Our products all contain printed information confirming the name and address of manufacturer, date of manufacture and manufacturing batch or impression reference.
