Patchwork is a satisfying and creative craft. Originally the patches were sewn by hand but, with modern machines, patchwork can be made quickly, with stronger stitching, and a wider range of fabrics can be used. Most of the equipment needed for machine patchwork will already be available in the home, and the craft needs no specialised design knowledge. This book deals with the repeated block designs but the techniques described can be adapted to suit any pattern. Patterns are open to individual choice of colour and fabric, and no two will look alike even if the same block is used.
