Since their first publication in 1923, Cicely Mary Barker’s Flower Fairies have enchanted both adults and children alike around the world. Clare Gogerty lives on a smallholding in Herefordshire which she intends to open as a spiritual retreat. A member of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, she has been interested in magic, druidry and folklore since childhood. A former magazine editor, for numerous titles including The Simple Things magazine, she is now a freelance journalist and author, writing about spirituality, travel, homes and gardens for various magazines and newspapers.
