Since their first publication in 1923, Cicely Mary Barker’s Flower Fairies have enchanted both adults and children alike around the world. The botanically accurate drawings in the 170 original illustrations, coupled with the enchanting fairy images based on real children from Cicely’s sister’s nursery school, appeal to our innate sense of magic and wonder.

About Clare Gogerty
Clare Gogerty lives on a smallholding in Herefordshire which she intends to open as a spiritual retreat. A member of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, she has been interested in magic, druidry and folklore since childhood. A former magazine editor, for numerous titles including The Simple Things magazine, she is now a freelance journalist and author, writing about spirituality, travel, homes and gardens for various magazines and newspapers.
