I was looking forward to receiving this book for ages. I love crafting with my kids and this sounded like a great book to work through with them. We're trying to cut down on our craft materials and this is a lovely excuse to get outside and craft with things which can be found easily. Although I've made some of the crafts before there are plenty of new ones to try! Projects range from a leaf mobile to a floral lampshade, seed balls and walnut wreath.
Postcard Reviews
For this year, at least, crafting has become a popular pastime, as more and more of us try to fill our time with meaningful and enjoyable pastimes. This book of crafting from nature, not only allows us to have free use of what's available in our gardens and green space, but it also gives us a wide range of beautiful things to make and display in our homes.
Like nature, this book gives four sections. Summer, Spring, Autumn and Winter. I adored the Winter Twig Letters, a brilliant idea and so simple and beautiful.
You will need some other items to make your projects, but each one comes with a list of the things you will need, along with a step-by-step picture tutorial. The collection of ideas gives you a good reason to forage for leaves, feathers, acorns and so on. It really is a brilliant craft book to have on your shelf. The inspiration pours from the pages and you will be able to create your own unique style of craft to display or gift.

Weekly ideas for when your MOJO has gone walkabout!
This is a lovely little book by Barbora, published by the ever reliable Search Press. I am with the u3a and this will be lovely to connect with members on a weekly basis. It is great to do something crafty with many of us confined to home. It has a weekly craft with a list of tools and materials and, if you haven't the exact items, substitutions can be made. I'm looking forward to doing a craft outside of my comfort zone!
