I thought I had every single one of Debbie's books but I then came across this one while I was browsing sewing books. I am so glad that I found it as there are so many good and practical projects to make. I also found that this particular book seems to be a lot bigger than some of the other ones in this collection, which is unbelievably good value for money.

This new book, just by its cover, implies that the inspiration inside is 'fresh' and is inviting you to make something new and different from what you normally would.
In the opening pages Debbie has given tips for complete beginners plus more pages of advice regarding every project in this book. The book is split into four sections so there is something for everyone from bag making to a garment protector to gardeners kneeling pad to name a few.
I'm more of a visual learner and am thrilled that not only are the instructions written very clearly but there are photographs to go with every stage of your make. Before you know it you will have made a list of what you would like to make to gift to friends and family as well as for yourself.
Happy sewing, I know I will be.

Once again Debbie has brought out an amazing book to add to her brilliant Half Yard collection. There are 40 springtime sewing projects to get cracking on. Some are taken from her previous Half Yard books plus an extra five projects to get your sewing machine on full power.
This new book is packed full of ideas for every type of sewing fanatic, from small projects to more challenging ones but nothing too difficult to make. Debbie has a excellent way of explaining step-by-step instructions for even the newest convert to easily follow. I am looking forward to making the new additions from this book.

Debbie has chosen her favourite spring designs from her Half Yard series, including five new projects. Each item needs only half a yard of outer fabric plus hardware, trimmings and lining. Every project has friendly, easy-to-follow instructions and lovely photos.
