Steffi Stern brings her inimitable energy and enthusiasm to her second book, intended as a back-to-basics guide to making needle-felted objects. Each project includes very clear steps and photos, and Steffi also instructs the reader on basic techniques that will help them to make many other projects.
The book contains chapters on techniques, materials, tools and accessories. There is a chapter on fairies, angels, and people, and the rest of the book is organized by season; it brims with all kinds of treasures, such as pumpkins, gnomes, strawberries, baubles, birds, bees, snails, flowers, the Nativity, mice, and mermaids. All the projects in the book are achievable for a beginner. Some are aimed at little fingers (no needles involved) and beginners, and some are suited to those with more experience. Steffi’s advice is to have a go!

After having a family, Steffi opened a craft shop in Gloucestershire, UK and began to get more and more interested in needle felting a way of sculpting with wool.
