Monica Russel's Fair Isle Knitting Workshop

Do you love knitting and want to face new challenges?

In Monica Russel's Fair Isle Knitting Workshop you can learn how to:

• Change colours without having large loops at the back of your work.
• Design your own simple patterns
• Use Fair Isle to work as a border for garments and accessories
• Use colour to create patterns effectively.

There will be an opportunity to buy patterns, kits, yarn and books on the day.

COST: £42.00 including the cost of all yarn for practicing skills. Other yarns will be available to purchase on the day. 

Tea/coffee and cake will be provided. Participants will need to bring knitting needles of various sizes.

The workshop will be held at Monica's house in East Sussex.

About Monica Russel

Monica Russel is a qualified Teacher and Art Therapist, and has worked in schools, Further Education and Mental Health services. In 2009, she set up a knitting and cake-stand making business using her creative skills. Monica designs all her own patterns and sells her knitting kits, which use only natural fibres, through her website. She attends many craft and knitting fairs and loves craft challenges. Since setting up her craft business, she has had patterns featured in Knitting magazines and books.
