We're returning to Mall Galleries, London on 28th August for our third annual 'Search Press Demo Day', so why not join us in watching your favourite artists doing what they do best!
This year the event will be bigger than ever before with seven demonstrating artists, working in a variety of mediums.
Here's what returning artist Matthew Palmer has to say about the event: "Following the success of last year’s Search Press Demo Day at the Mall Galleries, I’m really looking forward to this year’s event. Last year was amazing, there was a great atmosphere and the whole day was literally 'all about art!' There were live art demos in all mediums throughout the day and it was great to meet all the visitors. This year I’ll be painting brand new watercolours. So make sure you come along to London's best art day, all based in the super Mall Galleries."
Jane Betteridge is excited to be back once again and will be demonstrating a whole host of techniques to inspire your watercolour painting, including crackle paste, inks, grounds, granulation medium and more, as featured in her bestselling books Watercolours Unleashed and Dynamic Watercolours.
The live demonstrations are just one of many things to enjoy at this event. Some of our authors will be hosting Q&A sessions where you can ask for their top tips on how to take your art to the new level. At the end of the day there will be a chance to meet and mingle with all seven authors and purchase copies of their books, which they will be happy to sign for you.
As well as Matthew Palmer and Jane Betteridge, we're looking forward to some of our other bestselling authors joining us, including Jean Haines who will be showing visitors the life-enhancing effects of painting: "I am delighted to have this opportunity to demonstrate at the wonderful Mall Galleries in London as an author of my publisher Search Press. I will be showing techniques from a number of my books and will be happy to sign copies of all my publications at the event. Please come and say Hello! Tim Pond will be demonstrating his amazing drawing techniques with two live owls – Luna and Treacle, so why not bring a sketchbook with you and join in the fun?
