Jenny Billingham (@flynn_and_mabel) is a self-taught embroidery artist who studied surface design and printed textiles at the University of Northampton. She began experimenting with simple stitches and embroidery designs just before the pandemic began in 2020. Since then, she has created hoop art and embroidery patterns and it has become more than just a hobby.
About Sophie Timms
Sophie Timms (@mindfulmantra_embroidery) lives in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom, and is the owner and creator behind Mindful Mantra Embroidery. She graduated with a law degree but quickly hated her job and began dabbling in embroidery as a creative outlet during the pandemic lockdown. Her shop name comes from a blog she created at a time when she struggled with mindfulness and positivity. She considers embroidery a form of selfcare and a means for practicing mindfulness and stress-relief. Sophie sells her work online and runs in-person workshops as well as online classes.
