About Carl Hentsch

Carl Hentsch taught himself quilting in 1997 and now travels nationally speaking and teaching at art guilds and shops. He holds degrees in chemistry, biology, linguistics and accounting and business management. He lives in Missouri with three dogs and a cat. 3dogdesignco.com

These ten quilts have blocks set against a plain background. Many quilts can be made in varying sizes from cot to king size. One quilt has pieced blocks The cutting charts can take up to two pages. After cutting piece must be labelled as they are only referred to as 'N square' or 'Y triangle'. Some pieces have to be cut to 45 degrees or 60 degree angles with a ruler. The assembly instructions and diagrams are very clear but need careful reading. These are complex designs require great accuracy. It is a patchwork book only, there are no references to quilting.
