About Jan Eaton
Jan Eaton is a professional needlecraft and textiles designer. Her embroidery, crochet and knitting designs have appeared in many magazines and part works, including Classic Stitches , Crafts Beautiful , Needlecraft Magic and Inspirations . She has written over a dozen book including 200 Crochet Blocks , also published by David & Charles.
I love this book as it is full of inspirational ideas for knitters who want to create their own patterns. I used some of the patterns in a recent workshop on lace knitting and the participants thoroughly enjoyed testing out some of the designs to create their own scarves using a range of colours.
